Software Developer

Your future team
You will be a part of a software development team that is responsible for developing new products and product segments. The team is part of larger projects with colleagues from different departments and with different areas of expertise, ranging from software, image quality, mechanics, electronics, industrial design and product technology - just to name a few. Our department have a mix of both junior and more senior developers that work closely together to learn from each other in a fun and friendly working environment.

What you’ll do?

As a Software Developer you have an important role in all the parts of the development, from idea to implementation, test and improvements. You, together with our team are responsible for configuration and developing new functionality for our new products. Quality is important and you will review your team members code, document the work you have done as well as contributing with test programs.

As we work in smaller teams you also contribute to a good work climate as well as improving our agile way of working.

Who are you?

We are looking for a driven team player with a strong interest for technology.
You possess a strong personal drive, view knowledge sharing as a natural part of your daily routine, and are inspired by working in an open, creative and encouraging atmosphere.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Several years of experience working with C and/or C++.
• The ability to plan, prioritize, and take ownership within a team.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Familiarity with Linux system programming, including user space, kernel space, and device drivers.
• An engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, physics, engineering, or an equivalent field.

It's a bonus if you have:

• Interest in or experience with debug tools such as GDB and Valgrind.
• Scripting skills in areas like shell, Python and Perl.
• Knowledge of low-level programming, such as microcontrollers (MCU).
• Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern build tools.
• A curiosity about AI-powered development tools.
